Dress Code

A higher standard of dress encourages greater respect for individual students and others and results in a higher standard of behavior.  It also prepares students for the dress code requirements of the workforce.  Our dress code guidelines indicate appropriate school dress for normal school days.  Imagine Schools at South Vero reserves the right to interpret these guidelines and/or make changes during the school year.  Students are expected to follow these guidelines.  Every student in attendance must wear a school uniform.  In an effort to keep all students in proper dress code including both style and colors all uniform items with the school logo are to be purchased at these approved uniform retailers.

Please see above links for appropriate grade level uniform requirements. Failure to wear any part of the school uniform will result in a disciplinary action.

• Hair:  hair must be neat and clean with no "unnatural" colors, i.e. bright green, unnatural haircuts or excessive attachments.  No hats, bandannas or wristbands may be worn.
• Shoes:  Students must wear closed shoes at all times.  No heavy military type boots, shoes with metal tips, steel toes, flashing lights or characters on the shoes, or shoes with wheels.  Tennis shoes are preferred.
• Socks:  Only white socks or socks from approved uniform retailers are permitted.  Fishnet stockings or other inappropriate leg wear is not acceptable.
• Shirts:  All shirts must be tucked in (front and back) and must be uniform shirts with Imagine Schools logo purchased from approved uniform retailers.  Sweatshirts, if worn, must be worn over the primary uniform shirt.  Sweatshirts are also to be purchased at approved uniform retailers and will have the Imagine Schools logo.  If the temperature is below 50 degrees then a student is permitted to wear a jacket of their choice as long as there are no characters on the jacket.
• Slacks/Shorts/Skorts/Jumper:  All uniform slacks/shorts/skorts/jumper must be worn with a belt if there are belt loops and be in good repair.  Please see the approved uniform retailers for accepted styles.  No jeans are allowed to be worn at anytime.
• In General:  Excessive ear piercings are not permitted.  At no time are students permitted to wear anything offensive, immodest, or deemed inappropriate by the administration.

Book Bags/Folders/Personal Items

Book bags, folders or any other personal items must not display patches, entertainment insignias, drawings, obscene words, gang signs or any other items that would be deemed inappropriate, offensive or reflect negatively on Imagine Schools.
