Dear Parents,

I hope you all enjoyed a fantastic summer and are ready to return to Imagine Schools at South Vero.  Our campus has been quite busy over the summer.  If you have not seen all the work that has been done to our beautiful campus, I have a wonderful opportunity for those of you to visit the campus and obtain volunteer hours!  As you might be aware, It is time for our teachers to return to the school for their in service days.  PTA would like to ask if there are any parents that would like to come in and watch the teachers' children while they are working to get ready for the new school year.  It doesn't have to be all day of course, perhaps increments of an hour or so. The teachers would GREATLY appreciate this. Also, it gives your children the opportunity to play with kids on the new hard court, on the playground, or play a board game in the multipurpose room!  I know the kids are missing their friends and are ready to start saying hello again to fellow students and our wonderful teacher's children as well. If you would like to participate in this helpful favor, just email ImaginePTA@gmail.com  or call PTA at 633-0182.  Below you will find a list of dates and times those volunteers would be needed.

Tuesday August 17- 8:00am-4:00pm
Wednesday August 18- 8:00am-Noon
Thursday August 19- 8:00am-4:00pm
Friday August 20- 11:00am-3:00pm

Thank you so very much!  We are pleased to have such dedicated teachers and always want to include our dedicated parents.  We are always appreciative of the time and effort that all volunteers donate to our school.  PTA is an opportunity for our school to communicate and grow within the community.  It is with great enthusiasm that PTA of Imagine Schools at South Vero wishes that we will have a successful and enjoyable year!!

With your support last year, many goals were accomplished.  I would like to thank the 2009-2010 PTA President, Carlene Brunk, and the entire PTA Board.  Your dedication to the Imagine School and our children was outstanding.  Most importantly, THANK YOU to all the parents and teachers that assist during all the events big or small to make things come together to put smiles on the faces of our children.  Remember, we are volunteers that support a wonderful school and enhance our community.  All of the accomplishments from last year was achieved because of the wonderful support of our Imagine PTA members.  PTA would like to extend to all a WELCOME BACK and HELLO to our new students and their families.

We want to welcome you all to join the 2010-2011 PTA.  Research studies show that kids do better when parents are involved!  PTA is a non-profit organization (Parent Teacher Association).  WE are the voice for children.  PTA desires you to share with our school any amount of time, no matter how much big or small, you want to share.  Remember, you may volunteer on campus, help out on a committee, and /or assist in so many ways by doing things at your home (collecting Box Tops and mailing them out).  All of the volunteering and fundraising efforts goes right back into our school.  Children see the efforts of parents volunteering in their community. PTA keeps parents informed.

This is the place to find out what goals PTA is currently working on, volunteer opportunities, and upcoming events to mark on your calendar. PLEASE, check this section often as it will be updated to reflect the current monthly events.
